These courses are designed for secondary schools, colleges and establishments that provide support for teenage parents and their babies.

Your Baby Needs You!

A course of eight sessions designed to support young mothers in school or college.
1) Basic parenting skills for new and expectant parents
2) Bonding with your baby
3) Establishing routines for your baby
4) Basic First Aid in the home
5) The importance of play
6) Getting organised in the home
7) The toddler!
8) You and your baby's future

This course can be presented to young mothers and fathers in school or college as part of their individualised learning programmes. The potential clients will be either pregnant or will have a baby under two years old. They will receive support and guidance as well as learning about caring for a baby's basic needs.

Sessions last two hours and parents are welcome to bring their baby with them.

The complete course costs £1000
We can provide shorter courses if required. These cost £150 per session.

Avoiding Conflict With Your Teenager

This workshop is designed to support parents and adults caring for children wishing to reduce the tension and aggression that may occur when they become teenagers.

Participants are invited to take the opportunity to reflect on their own teenage years and to analyse the problems and pressures their youngsters are experiencing. With this increased understanding parents can assess their own attitudes and make informed decisions on how best to manage these difficult years.

Many parents have found that by taking a step back and talking calmly, using our conflict resolution techniques, life in the home has become more peaceful and enjoyable.

The workshop can be delivered at any time to suit the clients. The session lasts 2.5 hours.
